Ephesians 3:17-19
June 14th 2026, Second Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

Continuing from last time, we will learn also today from Paul’s prayers for the brothers and sisters of the church in Ephesus.

The first is to have Christ dwell in our hearts. The phrase “to have Him dwell in” implies a rich fellowship with Him. Although the Lord already dwells within us, it is necessary for us to welcome Him into the center of our hearts and share in intimate fellowship with Him.

The second is to know the love of Christ. To do this, we need to be rooted in Christ’s love and walk together with our brothers and sisters in the church. We should also seek the strength to comprehend Christ’s love.

The third is to be filled with the fullness of Christ. God’s will toward us saved ones, is that we be filled with the fullness of Christ and be changed into His likeness.

We can pray to the Lord about anything. That is precisely why we should pray about these things. Let us continue to offer this prayer—for ourselves and for our brothers and sisters!

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
