Ephesians 2:19-22
April 26th 2026, Fourth Lord’s Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

The passage continues to speak about God’s grace toward those who have been saved.

First, we have been made members of God’s household. Our sins have not only been forgiven; we have been made children of God and welcomed into His household. A household enjoys wonderful fellowship, but it also carries responsibilities.

Second, in Christ, the church is made one. It is taught that Christ Himself is the cornerstone. For the church to be united, each of us must be rightly aligned with Christ, the cornerstone.

Third, in the church, God joins us together and causes us to grow. Salvation is personal, but spiritual growth requires the church. It is the Lord’s will that we be baptized, become connected to the church, serve one another, grow, and bear fruit.

Let us once again remember the gracious position the Lord has given us. And let us walk together in the Lord’s church, loving and serving one another.
