Ephesians 2:11-18
April 19th 2026, Third Lord’s Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

Paul said, “Remember.” What should we remember and keep it in mind?

First is that those who were separate from God are now brought near to Him. We are Gentiles, once outsiders to God’s covenant, walking toward perishing. But in Christ, we are brought near to God.

Second is that through Christ, we have peace with God. The wall between Jews and us has been removed, and above all, we have been reconciled with God. We have peace with God. And we have peace from God.

Thirdly, through Christ, we can draw near to God the Father. We are saved, our sins are forgiven, and we can go to heaven, and more than that, we have been made children of God. We are placed in a close, intimate relationship with God.

It is necessary not to forget our state in the past and the grace God has given us. Let us always remember the grace we have received so far, give thanks to the Lord, and serve Him!

For through him we both have access in one Spirit to Father.
