Ephesians 5:15-17

We are taught to walk as wise. Let us learn what is necessary for that.
First, we should pay close attention to our own walk. We can clearly see and notice the way others walk, yet we often fail to see our own path. The Lord calls upon us to pay careful attention to our own walk.
Second, we should make the best use of the time that the Lord has given us. Precisely because we live in an evil age of darkness, walking as children of light—as we learned previously— we are to serve as testimonies and make good use of the time.
Third, we should ask ourselves what pleases the Lord, rather than what pleases ourselves. Which priority we choose determines whether our walk is truly wise or not. Let us confirm what pleases the Lord through His Word and make the right choice.
To this end, we need “to be filled with the Holy Spirit and its help”, which we will learn next time. Let us surrender ourselves to the Lord and allow him to guide us in a walk of wisdom!
