Ephesians 1: 20-23
February 15th 2026, Third Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
Let us learn from the latter part of Ephesians chapter 1.
The first is to trust in Christ, who exists above all things. There are several things that people often fear and rely on, like dominion, authority, power, and sovereignty. However, Christ exists far above all of these. Moreover, He is unchanging for all eternity. Let us fear and trust in Him.
The second is to love the Church, which is the fullness of Christ. God has given Christ as the head of the Church. The church is the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Those who love the Lord shall surely come to love their Church.
The third is to live as a part of Christ's body. The Church is the body of Christ, and we are its individual organs (members). The Church walks according to the will of the Lord. It is important for us to be firmly connected to the Church through baptized, and to serve one another as we walk our lives for the glory of the Lord.
Let us be thankful for the grace that we can serve in the church of Christ!
