Psalm 107: 1-43
December 28th 2025, Fourth Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
Life is filled with many hardships. We are easily get dissatisfied and grumble during these times. What should we remember as we walk?
First, calling on the LORD with our hearts can be a turning point. The LORD wants us to walk facing Him squarely. When we call on Him with our hearts in the midst of hardship, He intervenes.
Second, have faith that the LORD will do a new thing. We tend to be bound by the past, thinking that things didn’t work out in the past, so they won’t work out in the future either. Still, let us believe that the LORD is capable of doing new things beyond human imagination.
Third, discern the LORD’s steadfast love and be thankful to Him. It is to keep in mind the many blessings the LORD has bestowed upon us. And discern what He is trying to do through these experiences. When we do this, we will be more aware of His grace and begin to give Him thanks. That is the way of the wise.
Looking back over the past year, how many times have we walked in gratitude to the LORD? As wise people, let us discern the many blessings of the LORD and walk always in gratitude to Him!
<The Word of the Bible>
Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things;
let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.
Psalm 107:43 (English Standard Version)
