Zechariah 12: 1-14
July 13th 2025, Second Holy Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
So far, we have learned about several prophecies about the Savior written in the Book of Zechariah. Today’s passage describes what will happen in the future.
First, we hereby take a look at the end-time program that is planned for the future. Christ will suddenly come into the air and take up Christians. A seven- year tribulation period will begin after the signing of a peace treaty between the Anti-Christ and Israel. Natural disasters will occur. Then there will be the Battle of Armageddon, and the armies of countries around the world will attack Israel. God will pour out a spirit of grace on them and pleas for mercy, and the Jews will notice their mistakes, realize that Christ is the true Savior, and repent. Then Christ will return to the earth and judge them. Let us remember two things:
The first is to trust in God who controls all things.
The second for each one of us is to repent before God. Let us repent every day until the day the Lord comes, and walk close to Him.
<The Word of the Bible>
And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over h im, as one weeps over a firstborn.
