Ephesians 1: 1-2
November 9th 2025, Second Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
Starting today, we begin our series on the Epistle to the Ephesians. Let us learn about our position from Paul’s greeting part.
First, we are those who called by God’s will. Paul confessed that he was called to be an apostle not by his own plan or authority, but by God’s will. We are not apostles, but we must not forget that we are those who have been called to be saved by God’s will and sent into this world. That’s grace. With grace comes responsibility.
Second, we are called to walk as faithful saints. By God’s grace we have been called to salvation, and we are required to walk faithfully in a manner that deserves it. God is watching our faithfulness.
Third, we are counted as those who are in Christ Jesus. We, who believe in Jesus as our Savior, are united with Him.
Never forget the position of grace in which we find ourselves. Let us always remember our position of grace, give thanks, and walk in love with the Lord!
