Ephesians 2: 6-10
March 1st 2026, First Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
It emphasizes that salvation does not come from our works but is given to us by God’s grace through faith. Let us learn what God’s grace has brought into our lives.
First, grace has changed our status. Spiritually, those who have been saved are already seated with Christ in the heavenly realms. We need to view our present circumstances from that perspective.
Second, grace has shattered our pride. We were saved not because we did something good. In fact, we were unable to do anything to earn salvation. It is solely by God’s grace, received through faith, that we have been saved. This truth humbles us and breaks our pride.
Third, grace has prepared our path. God has also prepared good works for us to walk in. With gratitude, we can follow the Lord’s guidance and live for His glory.
Let us give thanks from the heart for God’s grace, respond to that grace, and offer ourselves to walk for the glory of the Lord!
<The Word of the Bible>
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2: 8-9 (English Standard Version)
