God gives a “living hope” to those who have been saved through faith in Christ.
First, let us learn about Christ’s death and resurrection. We sinners, who once walked against God, deserved to be judged, but God sent His Son to love and save us. Christ took our sins upon Himself and died on the cross as our substitute, but God raised Him from the dead. Those who believe in this Christ are saved and given the living hope.
So, what kind of hope is this “living hope”? It is the hope of being loved eternally. We are placed in God’s love forever as His children. It is also the hope to live in heaven. The eternal kingdom has been prepared for us. Also, it is the hope that will sustain us through any sufferings. It is the hope that allows us to entrust our future to God.
Would you receive this wonderful living hope from God? As Christians, let us walk through life, always reminding that this living hope has been given to us!
