Psalm 46: 1-11
December 14th 2025, Second Lord’s Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

There are many wonderful things in this world, but I think they are unstable and? changeable. Seeing such circumstances, we also tend to be upset. However, there are things we should remember:

First, God is our refuge even in the storm. In this unstable world, God becomes our refuge. And it’s already there nearby. Blessed are those who walk knowing that they have refuge nearby anytime.

Second, if we remember God’s presence, the river of peace will flow. The LORD of hosts is with us. That is also the message of Christmas. When we remember this promise and truth, the river of peace will flow in our hearts.

Third, be still before God. In other words, stop trying to overcome troubles with our own wisdom or strength. It is to be quiet before God and to receive His Word from the Bible. It is also to remember the work that God ever has done .

By putting these things into practice, we will be able to walk with peace even in the midst of turmoil. Let us be still before God during these hectic times.

<The Word of the Bible>
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
Psalm 46:10 (English Standard Version)
