Ephesians 3:20-21
June 28th 2026, Fourth Lord’s Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

Today, we continue learning from Paul’s prayer for the Christians in Ephesus.

First, God works far beyond what we ask or even imagine. He acts beyond all our wishes and thoughts. We tend to focus on the size of our problems, but instead, we should fix our eyes on the greatness of God.

Second, God changes us through the power that works within us. The Lord is deeply concerned with our inner being. Although He works in our outer circumstances, He also works richly within us. Therefore, we need to pray for our inner life, that we may be shaped into vessels that reflect His will.

Third, God reveals His glory in the church, in Christ. As those who have been saved, we are called to live with the desire to display God’s glory. And we should remember that this takes place within the church.

Let us continue to walk together in this church, seeking God’s glory and living in Christ!

<Word of the Bible>
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, Accding to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
