Ephesians 1: 15-16
January 25th 2026, Fourth LORD’s Day of the Month

Let us study with the theme: what God’s grace brings.

First, God’s grace leads us to prayer. Receiving the grace that God had given, which was described in the verses 3-14, Paul wrote “for this reason”, and he was led to prayer. Blessed Christians who remember God’s grace, and such churches are surely led to prayer.

Second, God’s grace lets us bear the fruit of love. The brothers and sisters in the Ephesian church received God’s grace and their faith was strengthened. And they came to show love not only to themselves but to all the saints. Also, when we remember God’s grace given to us, our faith will be strengthened and we will show love to our brothers and sisters. This is also a commandment from the Lord.

Third, God’s grace is shown in prayers of thanks. When Paul heard that God had been blessing them (Ephesian church), he offered a prayer of thanksgiving. What part of people are we focusing on?

As the ones who received God’s abundant grace, let us bear good fruit!

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
