Ephesians 1: 3-6

Today’s passage describes in what kind of position God places us.
First, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. This is not an earthly blessing that changes and fades out. He has blessed us with spiritual blessing that comes from a relationship with God and is unchanging and unfading. We can live a life in which we discover this blessing every day!
Second, God chose us with love and made us his children. He chose us before the foundation of the world, made us blameless, and made us his children. As His children, we can confide in and rely on God the Father.
Third, God has given us a purpose in life that reveals the glory of his grace. Not only to reveal God’s glory, but to testify to how gracious God is, which is a wonderful purpose of life that given to us.
We tend to be discouraged as we compare ourselves to others, but let us have a correct understanding of ourselves in God, and walk toward our blessed purpose of life!
