Psalm 92: 1-15
September 14th Second Holy Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

As we age, we become weak physically and mentally. However, even the body gets weak, there is a way of life that still bears fruit,. What is that way like?

First, it is to walk in gratitude to the LORD. Remember the LORD’s grace in the morning and confess His faithfulness every night. We have been taught that it is a good thing. It will bless our lives of faith. Let us walk in gratitude to the LORD every day.

Second, it is to stay firmly connected to the LORD’s church. It is first to walk in faith in the LORD and His Word. Besides, it is important to stay firmly connected to the church, the house of the LORD, and be nourished and trained by His Word.

Third, it is to praise and testify the LORD. Those who live long lives testify that the LORD is righteous, true, and trustworthy, and praise Him. Then, people who hear it will take heed of it. That shall bring glory to God.

Everyone gets older. As we get older, we lose the ability to do things we were able to do when we were younger. However, it is precisely in our older years that we are able to accomplish certain things and bear fruit. Let us continue to bear fruit and bloom even in our older years!

<The Word of the Bible>
They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,
