Matthew 25:14-30
September 7th, First Holy Day of the Month
 Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor

Today, I’m on a missionary trip and not here. However, I would like to thank all of you who continue to attend our service. From the parable of the talents, we can clearly see that the Lord sees our faithfulness. He praised them. What was so good about these servants?

First, they were faithful even when their master was away. Their master was away on journey, so they were not seen by him, but they still worked faithfully.

Second, their faithfulness was accompanied by their actions. Some people have the intention but cannot put it into action. However, these servants immediately took actions.

Third, their faithfulness was due to their love to their master. When their master returned, they reported to them saying, “Look!”
We can see that they worked to please their master. It was never done out of a sense of duty, but out of the love to their master.

I am truly grateful to all of you, my beloved ones, for continuing to walk faithfully. The time will come when we will also meet the Lord. Let us walk in a way so that when that comes, He will say to us, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
The Lord is taking notice of our faithfulness.

<The Word of the Bible>
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. e You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’
Matthew 25:21 (English Standard Version)
