Zechariah 14: 1-5
July 27th 2025, Fourth Holy Day of the Month
Rev. Tadashi Nagae, Pastor
We have reached the final chapter of the Book of Zechariah. In the message from the worship service two weeks ago, we learned about the program for the end times that will occur in the future. We learned about the rapture, the tribulation, the battle of Armageddon, and the second coming. These things are repeatedly mentioned in today's passage as well. Let us learn three things from today’s passage.
First, there is the day appointed by the LORD. The Day of the LORD refers to the end times, centered on the tribulation period. During that time, all the Jews will repent ethnically. That time will come. Let us remember that the LORD determines the best time for this.
Second, the LORD will come to fight. At that time, those whose sins have been forgiven and who are in a peaceful relationship with God are blessed. On the other hand, it will be a terrible time for those whose sins have not been forgiven.
Third, we should remember and walk in our personal relationship with the LORD. At that time, we Christians will come to this earth with the LORD from the kingdom of heaven. It is important to remember the blessing of walking with the LORD personally and to walk in gratitude to Him.
Everything is in the hands of the LORD. Let us walk with trust in Him!
<The Word of the Bible>
And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
Zechariah 1 4 : 5 (English Standard Version)
